16 students die in fire at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri

At least 16 students have died in a fire that broke out in one of the dormitories of Hillside Endarasha Academy in Kieni Sub-county in Nyeri County.

Sources say the deceased students were burnt to death on Thursday evening during a fire.

Fourteen other students were taken to hospital with serious burns.

High-ranking police officers go to the school.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
