Israel’s Gaza genocide continues as new leak reveals how Netanyahu torpedoed ceasefire agreements

In Gaza, Israeli attacks have killed at least 18 Palestinians since Wednesday. One attack on a tent camp for displaced Palestinians killed four people near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in central Gaza. The attack destroyed dozens of tents and injured scores of others, including children. In southern Gaza, health workers began vaccinating tens of thousands of Palestinian children in the city of Khan Younis against polio, the second phase of a UN-led polio eradication effort.

Hamas, meanwhile, has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately undermining efforts to reach a ceasefire and hostage-release deal by refusing to withdraw Israeli troops from the Philadelphia Corridor along Gaza’s border with Egypt. This comes as newly released documents show how Netanyahu and Israeli negotiators deliberately prolonged Israel’s assault on Gaza by making new demands during ceasefire talks. The documents, published by Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, also reveal that three of the six hostages found dead in Gaza last weekend were supposed to be released under a ceasefire agreement drawn up in May.
