Murder Suspect Identified On ‘Sugar Daddy’ Website Still Wearing Bloody Clothes Days Later

Bobby Singh Shah, 51, was charged with the murder of Muna Pandey, 21, on August 24. He appeared in court on Tuesday, where he was denied bail and further details of his arrest were revealed.

According to prosecutors, via KHOUShah was still wearing the same blood-stained clothes he was wearing when surveillance footage captured him leaving the victim’s apartment on the night of the murder. A gun was also reportedly found in his car.

Pandey was found shot dead in her apartment after police received an anonymous tip from a man about a dead body in her apartment.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Pandey “with multiple gunshot wounds” inside the apartment; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Shah’s charging documents, she was shot multiple times, including an “execution-style” shot to the head.

Doctors also claim that Pandey’s friends told authorities that she had had an incident with a stalker in the past and installed a motion-sensing camera outside her front door.

Authorities say security footage from that camera on August 24 shows Pandey outside her apartment holding shopping bags as Shah held her at gunpoint. “What are you going to do?” she allegedly asked, before investigators say he pushed her into the apartment around 8:41 p.m. … before leaving the apartment with her purse at 9:48 p.m.

Authorities have released a clip of surveillance footage, asking for help identifying the suspect in the fatal shooting.

Several tips have been collected, including from a woman who “instantly” recognized the man targeted on a “sugar daddy” website 12 years ago, identifying him as Bobby Shah.

A restaurant owner reportedly told the authorities Pandey worked for him, adding that an acquaintance had recognized the suspect as a regular. That acquaintance had also identified Shah as a potential business partner and because of that business relationship, they were able to provide a copy of his driving license, which matched the video footage.

Shah was arrested on August 28 during a traffic stop and booked into the Harris County Jail.

His lawyer told the court on Tuesday that his client was innocent.

“He’s eager to finish this case so he can prove his innocence,” defense attorney Wilvin Carter said.
