Four-car crash reported | JoCo Report

CLAYTON – A crash late Wednesday night left four damaged vehicles strewn across the highway and left one person with minor injuries.

The crash occurred on Ranch Road, just south of US 70.

A motorist reported that traffic was slowed due to a disabled driver who was partially blocking the lane when his vehicle was struck by another car that failed to slow down.

The Clayton Fire Department, Johnston County EMS and North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the crash, which occurred at 10 p.m.

The injuries were apparently not life-threatening.

The road was closed for almost two hours.
