With summer soon to be a thing of the past, American craft brewers are meeting the upcoming season with an intriguing array of refreshing lagers you’ll definitely want to have on hand.

Sycamore celebrates fall early (Charlotte, NC) – Sycamore Brewing is celebrating fall early by returning with something special. A harmonious blend of house-roasted cold brew coffee, pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and ginger) and vanillaSycamore Pumpkin Latte Blonde is a seasonal beer with an alcohol content of 5.8%, with a balanced spicy sweetness, balanced by bitter, dark chocolate and delicate berry notes coming from the cold brew.

“Pumpkin Latte Blonde is like a pumpkin spice latte in beer form,” says Sycamore Brewing co-owner Sarah Taylor Brigham. “While some might call it basic, this beer is really unique because we’ve added our own house-roasted cold brew coffee. You can really taste the freshness and quality.”

Downtown (Bend, OR) – 10 Barrel Brewing has an incredibly interesting Hop explosion a year-round beer that started as a special beer brewed together with friends back east, at Rome Snowboards.

A fan favorite inspired by the Double IPA beer found in Vermont, 10 barrels down is a powerful Double IPA beer with an alcohol content of 9% by volume, with expressive notes of citrus, hemp and pine as well as intense, sweet aromas of pineapple and mango.

Look for All Ways Down now wherever 10 Barrel beers are sold, and in the new HopBurst Variety Pack featuring all four IPAs—Juicy Drama, Apocalypse, All Ways Down, and Cloud Mentality.

Time to hit the road (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has a new addition to its year-round lineup, inspired by “Graffiti Highway,” an abandoned stretch of road that has become a Pennsylvania landmark. Just a short drive from the brewery, this abandoned stretch of road was once a hotspot for Pennsylvania’s counterculture, a gathering place for like-minded artists to help create a colorful mosaic in a vanishing landscape.

Beer Alert: New Pumpkin Beers and Large Indian LagersA tribute to a monument that was buried forever in 2020, Tröegs Graffiti Highway Double IPA is a 9.5 ABV India Pale Ale with a mosaic of intense fruit flavors that give way to a mild bitterness. And like many of Tröegs beers, Graffiti Highway began as a series of test batches in the brewery’s research and development brewery known as the Scratch Lab.

“Scratch Lab is a three-barrel system that allows us to test hop combinations, times and temperatures side by side,” says Tröegs brewery manager Tim Mayhew. “We can get a feel for the nuances of those tests and find new inspiration.”
