One person injured in Iowa City stabbing

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – UPDATE: Police say one juvenile was injured in a stabbing in Iowa City.

Police responded to the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center in response to a report of a fight involving a knife at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said a group of minors were involved in the fight.

One minor was stabbed.

Rescuers provided aid to the victim at the scene.

The police are not disclosing any information and are conducting an investigation.

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred near the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City.

The university said officers responded to a call in the area of South Gilbert Street and East Burlington Street on Wednesday evening.
