GAMING, Ky. (WYMT) – Despite a little cloud cover across Eastern KY. Overall, it wasn’t a bad day with temperatures once again in the low to mid 80s.

After seeing another day with temperatures in the low 80s, we will continue this trend of nice weather for the day on Thursday, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures hovering near normal. 83 is where we should be for this time of year and that’s our forecast high for Thursday and Friday.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: RAIN CHANCES

Friday Night and Saturday Morning is when the changes start to take place. We will see a front push through which when the front pushes through, will increase our rain chances especially Friday Night and into the morning hours of your Saturday Morning.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: COOLER TEMPERATURES AHEAD

Once the front pushes through, we’ll definitely feel it as highs will be in the low to mid 70s for Saturday and Sunday. It would not surprise me if a few places stayed in the upper 60s on the high end. Record low temperatures are something we have to keep an eye on as well.

As we mentioned last night, 2 weeks ago, we were talking about record lows, last week was record highs, this week is record lows again. The battle between Summer and Fall continues.
