Bardstown shooting suspects charged with attempted murder

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – Two men have been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Bardstown.

At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 3, Bardstown police officers were dispatched to the area of ​​Filiatreau Lane in reference to a report of a shooting. Officers said the victim was able to provide officers with a description of the individuals involved and the vehicle they were riding in. The suspects and their vehicle were located a short time later.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found shell casings and a firearm in the vehicle believed to have been used in the shooting.

The suspects, James Daniel Revelle, 22, and Zemond Devon Turley, 24, are being held at the Nelson County Detention Center.

Bail for each man was set at $500,000 cash. Revelle and Turley are scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 10.

Bardstown police said no one was injured in the shooting and that all those involved in the incident have been transported to the scene.
