Trans Gloucester teen attacked by other teens for being trans, mother says

The mother of a transgender teenager claims her son was attacked in the woods by other teenagers in Gloucester over the weekend because of his trans identity.

Jasmine Tkaczyk wrote in a Facebook post that her son, 16-year-old Jayden Tkaczyk, was left with a broken nose after being beaten, kicked into a rock and stomped in the face during a party at Goose Cove Reservation on Friday. The teens shouted anti-LGBTQ+ slurs at her son as they were attacking him, she said.

“I am so ANGRY, hurt, and disgusted,” she wrote. “…They did this to my son bc he’s trans.”
