Two thugs attack the conductor and driver of a moving city bus

Two youths attacked a city bus driver and a conductor in a moving bus in the 11 mile area, the accused got into the bus and started beating the driver, who sustained serious injuries.

The youth also threatened the passengers who came to save the driver.

This created panic among the passengers. They were so scared that they got down from the bus and ran away. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the bus and a video lasting about one and a half minutes. The accused were seen hitting the driver and causing a commotion.

The incident was reported on Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 pm. The city bus with registration number MP04PA4424 was travelling from Sehore Naka to Mandideep. Two employees of a private bus boarded the city bus. As soon as they got inside, they started beating up the driver Vivek Udhavni.

About a year ago, following a High Court order, BCLL stopped operating buses from Bhopal to Mandideep and Bilkisganj, which are within a radius of 25 km outside the municipal corporation limits. Eight months ago, the service to Mandideep was resumed.

One of the two bus operators started operating buses on January 25, and the other on January 26. After that, a total of 45 buses started operating on this route. More than 20,000 passengers travel on this route every day.

Private bus operators want to accommodate as many passengers as possible in their buses. This often leads to disputes with the driver and conductor of the city bus. Such incidents happen every month. On Tuesday, a city bus driver, Vivek, was beaten up with kicks and punches.

He said that the employees of the private bus often threaten that there should not be a kilometer in front of us or behind us. We will seat the passengers. The passengers should sit only from Mandideep to Bhopal. The passengers should not sit anywhere on the way.

During the attack on the driver, an attempt was made to save the passenger, but the attackers also threatened him.

The CCTV camera was also destroyed. After the attack on the driver, the private bus staff also destroyed the CCTV camera. However, the recording had already been saved on the server.

Two youths attacked the driver for a long time. Conductor Anand Kumar also stood nearby but did not even try to save the driver. On the other hand, when a passenger tried to save the driver, both youths threatened him.
