Missing 15-year-old girl last seen in Lakewood on August 23

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued a missing person alert for a Native American woman, a 15-year-old girl who was last seen in Lakewood more than a week ago.

Valerie Ayala-Griego was last seen at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 6100 block of West 13th Avenue. She also made a phone call at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 25, but has not been heard from since.
