First Weather Alert: Chilly for Labor Day and Back to School

ROCHESTER, NY — The Labor Day weather this year will bring some sunshine and cool winds, along with dry conditions.

Temperatures on Monday will remain in the 60s with north winds over 20 mph in the afternoon. It will be clear with a slight chill Monday night into Tuesday morning as kids start to head back to school.

Temperatures Tuesday morning will be in the 40s, maybe even a little above 30 degrees Fahrenheit south of Rochester. Expect sunny, dry conditions Tuesday afternoon.

It will be similar to Thursday with clear skies and dry weather with cool mornings and pleasant afternoons. Temperatures will rise a bit later in the week with rain and thunder on Friday and a bit of rain and cooler temperatures over the weekend.
