Bhopal:About three dozen people associated with illegal mininghe attacked employees mining company in Shahdol DistrictPolice have arrested two people in this case, and the search for others is ongoing.
The incident took place near Sukhad village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Deolaund police station, where other attacks by the mining mafia have taken place in the past.

In the current case, the police have initiated proceedings against 10 named and about 20 unidentified persons.
“Two accused have been arrested and an NSA action has been initiated against one of them. A manhunt has been launched to arrest the rest. There are around 10 named accused and 20 unidentified,” Shahdol Additional SP Abhishek Diwan told TOI.
He added: “The accused attacked the workers and property of the contractor who legally leased a sand mine there.”
