Joxsan Herrera, 36, of Dayton, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29, 2024 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born on June 25, 1988 in Houston, the son of Salvador and Paulita Herrera. Joxsan graduated from North Shore High School in 2006. Joxsan is survived by his parents, Salvador and Paulita Herrera; his brother Salvador Herrera, Jr. and his wife Brenda; and other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends are invited to visit the family beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Sterling Funeral Chapel, 602 North Main St. in Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with José Armando Ramírez officiating. The funeral service and burial will follow immediately after at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Dear brothers, friends, and family, we thank you so much for all the support you have given us, your words of encouragement, and the examples of genuine love you have shown us during these difficult times. This is truly a gift from Jehovah. Thank you again for being there.

In Joxsan he survived his fathers, Salvador and Paulita Herrera; his brother Salvador Herrera, Jr. and his wife Brenda; and other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

You invite your friends to visit the family starting at 11 a.m. on September 3, 2024 at Sterling Funeral Chapel, 602 North Main St. in Dayton. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home and will be transported by José Armando Ramírez. The graveside service and the entire body will be transported immediately after to Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
