68-year-old man killed in Lynchburg pedestrian crash

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – A 68-year-old man has died after being hit with a car in Lynchburg Sunday, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.

According to police, officers received reports of a pedestrian being struck in traffic at 10:16 pm in the 1500 block of Campbell Avenue.

Police say the man was transported to the Lynchburg General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The man’s identity has not been released.
