Sugar Land crash: wrong-way driver kills two

A wrong-way crash early Monday morning killed two people and left another seriously injured in Sugar Land.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a wrong-way driver struck another driver around 3:10 a.m. Monday. The Sugar Land Fire Department responded to reports of a serious crash on U.S. 90 near the 9700 block. Upon arrival, first responders discovered two victims who had been ejected from the vehicle. Both died at the scene.

A third person, also involved in the accident, was found at the scene and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
